Tea Gardens hosts a swimming pool which is open during the summer. Opening times are 6.00am to 6.00pm. The swimming pool is to be found near the Singing Bridge on Marine Drive.

Ocean Swimming can be found at Bennett’s Beach and Jimmy’s Beach, Hawks Nest. If swimming at Bennett’s Beach care should be taken to swim only in front of the Surf Club building. Safer swimming for children can be found at Jimmy’s Beach.

Organised rides are scheduled every Wednesday and Sunday mornings and generally depart either Hawks Nest Golf Club or Tea Gardens Swimming Pool.

Programmes available at Tea Gardens Visitor Information Centre and Tea Gardens CTC and include options for short rides for families and longer rides for enthusiasts.

Kayak and Kayak Hire

One of the best ways to experience the magnificent Myall waterways is definitely, quietly, leisurely, comfortably, by kayak.

 

Lazy Paddles offers 2hr guided historical/nature kayak tours as well as independent kayak hire for those keen to explore on their own. For a couple of hours or for a few days, Lazy Paddles can get you on the water. Phone 0412 832 220

 

Beach Driving

Beach driving is strictly regulated on Bennett’s Beach and is prohibited on Jimmy’s Beach. Driving permits can be obtained from the Council Offices in Myall Street, Tea Gardens or at the Information Centre at week ends.

 

Bowls - The Tea Gardens Country Club
