4km North along Mungo Brush Road from the “T” intersection at the Golf Course. Turn Left at the camp gates and travel 1km in from the road to the river. Myall Lakes National Parks Mungo Brush Camping Ground
Location: On the south-eastern shore of Bombah Broadwater. See location map (PDF - 300KB). Getting there: To get to these campgrounds, you can follow Lakes Road south from Bulahdelah, using the Bombah Point ferry. Alternatively, take Mungo Brush Road north of Hawks Nest Facilities: Flush toilets, picnic tables, electric/gas barbecues, rubbish bins Water supply: Bore water is available (not suitable for drinking). More details: This popular campground has a boat ramp and a variety of walking tracks, so you can discover the park from both land and water. It has open areas ideal for caravans, as well as secluded tent-based sites. There are walking tracks, including the Rainforest Loop and Tamboi walk. Wood and solid fuel fires are not permitted. The park's main waste and recycling service is here. Fees: $10.00 per adult per night, $5.00 per child per night. Bookings: We don't take bookings for this campground - camping is on a first come, first served basis. |
